About The Event
Are you interested in introducing dermoscopy in your podiatry practice?
Dermoscopy is a assessment technique that allows close examination of skin lesions under magnification. It has many uses in dermatology today, but particularly in the assessment of pigmented lesions.
This is an introductory course designed for chiropodists and podiatrists interested in learning more about dermoscopy and how it can be used to detect foot melanoma. The course will cover afoot melanoma, introduce the dermatoscope and then demonstrate how it can be used to improve your assessment and management of foot lesions.
Do I need to own a dermatoscope to attend?
No. You will not need one for the course, but afterwards you may wish to buy one, so the event will be supported by Brymill UK who sell a full range of dermatoscopes, offered at special prices on the day. There will be an opportunity to look and try out…
